CONGRATULATIONS! How do you know if you are in?
Simple, you must have meet the minimum requirement <26 points! If so, you must not fail english! And then you are in!
Simple, you must have meet the minimum requirement <26 points! If so, you must not fail english! And then you are in!
However, I am sorry that 10 of the DPAs had to leave because they did not meet the minimum requirements!
Next, I will get Jerome to email the 124 DPAs soon to also confirm that you are in DPA! So, don't worry about your place in DPA!
Congrats to all again! Hope to see the whole bunch of you soon! Remember, 06 Feb 2009 will be the starting of DPA PPP programme!!! See ya!

What is Direct Polytechnic Admission?
1. The Direct Polytechnic Admissions (DPA) Exercise is an admission exercise which allows students who have the passion and aptitude for applied learning to secure a place in a polytechnic course before you sit for your ‘O’ Level examinations.
2. It’s an avenue for students whose passion and talent in a specific field are not fully reflected in their examination results.
Why DPA?
It gives us greater flexibility to select you based on a wider range of your talents other than your examination results. You get to enjoy special preparatory programmes which let you chalk up poly credits counting towards your graduation before your friends even enrol!

“Initially, I wondered why my other secondary school friends were playing while I was studying and starting my poly life so soon. Over time, I have learnt many things from DPA. My Cross Disciplinary Subjects: Japanese Language and Psychology of Creativity, are subjects that I don’t find in my secondary school. I also learnt to be a leader when we were camping together. It's more than studies in Polytechnic Preparatory Programme (PPP). It's all about fun, learning, interaction and friendship. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
