So feel free to grab your photos in there.
These are the photos during the 3-day orientation, outings, during and last day of PPP and also photoshooting!
Today, some of our DPA students went to have a school talk in Coral Secondary.
It was a very meaningful day as we shared about our experience.
We had another school talk (I'm not sure about which school yet.) next tues, 8 july.
I need 1 or 2 more students to volunteer to join Eric with Kathy/Jeff (Our beloved lecturers) to the school.
Trust me, it will be sth nice and fun for you guys!
As most of our friends are having lessons the whole day.
I really need 1 or 2 more of you guys who are free between 11.30am to maybe about 3pm.
We have to reach the school at ard 12.30pm.
And it wld be better if you are a female (:
So people who are interested can email or call me.
The latest by fri? So i can confirm your attendence with Kathy.
Btw, i still need more people to give comments in TP's Friendster acc!
There are only 2 people who are so kind to help out.
That is meiyan and i -.-
So pls, pls, pls. Dont be lazy ppl. i need 28 more!
The link can be found in the post below. (the one i had posted previously.)
Lastlyyyyyyyyy, there will be a DPA IG's meeting soon!
In this meeting, we had alot more to discuss about.
For e.g., your contact no., particulars and etc.
Knowing which department you are keen to join, DPA CAMP! (yay!), selecting of some important people in the Main/Sub comm and last but not least DPA outing!
So i need you guys to tell me whether which day you guys prefer.

About me
What is Direct Polytechnic Admission?
1. The Direct Polytechnic Admissions (DPA) Exercise is an admission exercise which allows students who have the passion and
aptitude for applied learning to secure a place in a polytechnic course before you sit for your ‘O’ Level examinations.
2. It’s an avenue for students whose passion and talent in a specific field are not fully reflected in their examination results.
Why DPA?
It gives us greater flexibility to select you based on a wider range of your talents other than your examination results.
You get to enjoy special preparatory programmes which let you chalk up poly credits counting towards your graduation before your friends even enrol!
What our Pioneers say!
Cheryl:
“Initially, I wondered why my other secondary school friends were playing while I was studying and starting my poly life so soon. Over time, I have learnt many things from DPA.
My Cross Disciplinary Subjects: Japanese Language and Psychology of Creativity, are subjects that I don’t find in my secondary school. I also learnt to be a leader when we were camping together.
It's more than studies in Polytechnic Preparatory Programme (PPP). It's all about fun, learning, interaction and friendship. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
Nur Fazleena:
“I personally feel that DPA is very enriching as we are given a broader view and better insights about the courses offered in the Business school. Also,we are lucky to be able to try out some CCAs.
PPP helps us to be more familiar with the TP environment and culture. We have the chance to bond with the seniors too. It feels great to be among the unique first batch of students.”
Zhi Yong:
“DPA - It’s an exercise we would never want to miss, a journey that leads to great friendships and unexpected valuable learning as well.”
Kenneth:
"DPA is one admission exercise different from any other Direct Entry Exercise. The friends you make here last forever.
Besides, DPA allows me to finish three CDS and collect nine credit units within the fun-filled eight-week PPP in TP."
Theresa:
"DPA gives an edge over the rest? Definitely! And it comes with whole lot of fun, learning and excitement.
The best part is I get to meet friends that I would never let go of."
