Hey, I know it sounds abit sad, or maybe very saddening but I think it really proves our relationship for one another.
I know most of us cried while watching the video cheryl had done for us. I think it was very very very sweet of her. She spent almost a day doing that. To me, or to any IT person, doing video compiling might seem as the easier thing to do, but look at this, I don't care how easy it can get now, it just reflects how much effort our dear cheryl has put in, how much effort and time she has given to do the video for us. I thank her for that, for her efforts and everything. I did had tears in my eyes while watching the video, because it reminds us of the good wonderful memories we had at HSS block 8 Level 6. ILZ, and all. DPA really made an impact to our lives, maybe changed some of our lives, but ultimately, it comes to a good end. That we love one another whatever the circumstances.
Let us cherish what we have now, and rejoice over what we have. Let us not cry over the past, but rejoice for the present and the future. DPA-PPP period might be history, but we can still be happy for the future. This is something not many can experience, it is not something one can buy with money. OUR TRUE FRIENDSHIP, OUR LOVE, OUR JOY, OUR HAPPINESS, OUR LAUGHTER, OUR FUN, cannot be bought and ultimately if we really reflect, we should be happy because all this cannot be earned by any one else. Not even the seniors.
Think about it, how long have the freshies bond? They got 3days, while we got 3months. We instead should be happy that we had this chance to enjoy this moment. It might seem over, but the fact is, some others might not experience something like this in their life. We should be happy that we get to experience this wonderful moment. The wonderful memories that we had for the past 3months. The thick and thin we went through, followed by the fun and joy we had. So let us all cheer up okay?
Let us not leave in regret. Let us not regret what we did, but instead regret over what we did not do. Let's not regret the past, instead lets live the future.
With love, kenneth

About me
What is Direct Polytechnic Admission?
1. The Direct Polytechnic Admissions (DPA) Exercise is an admission exercise which allows students who have the passion and
aptitude for applied learning to secure a place in a polytechnic course before you sit for your ‘O’ Level examinations.
2. It’s an avenue for students whose passion and talent in a specific field are not fully reflected in their examination results.
Why DPA?
It gives us greater flexibility to select you based on a wider range of your talents other than your examination results.
You get to enjoy special preparatory programmes which let you chalk up poly credits counting towards your graduation before your friends even enrol!
What our Pioneers say!
Cheryl:
“Initially, I wondered why my other secondary school friends were playing while I was studying and starting my poly life so soon. Over time, I have learnt many things from DPA.
My Cross Disciplinary Subjects: Japanese Language and Psychology of Creativity, are subjects that I don’t find in my secondary school. I also learnt to be a leader when we were camping together.
It's more than studies in Polytechnic Preparatory Programme (PPP). It's all about fun, learning, interaction and friendship. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
Nur Fazleena:
“I personally feel that DPA is very enriching as we are given a broader view and better insights about the courses offered in the Business school. Also,we are lucky to be able to try out some CCAs.
PPP helps us to be more familiar with the TP environment and culture. We have the chance to bond with the seniors too. It feels great to be among the unique first batch of students.”
Zhi Yong:
“DPA - It’s an exercise we would never want to miss, a journey that leads to great friendships and unexpected valuable learning as well.”
Kenneth:
"DPA is one admission exercise different from any other Direct Entry Exercise. The friends you make here last forever.
Besides, DPA allows me to finish three CDS and collect nine credit units within the fun-filled eight-week PPP in TP."
Theresa:
"DPA gives an edge over the rest? Definitely! And it comes with whole lot of fun, learning and excitement.
The best part is I get to meet friends that I would never let go of."
